Approach and Background

When searching for a therapist, it can be overwhelming and stressful finding someone who is a good fit. Research shows that the relationship between the therapist and client is one of the most significant factors in creating positive outcomes. My primary goal is the relationship that I build with my clients, including fostering a supportive atmosphere. Since finding a good fit can be challenging, it may be helpful for you to know a little about me.

I was a competitive athlete in college and thrived in a team environment. When pursuing my higher education, using the skills I learned as a soccer player is essential in my professional career. I followed a path that eventually led me to earn a Masters in Sport Psychology and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. For the past eight years, I have been working and training in multiple clinical settings working with various populations. Through this experience, I will bring my clinical knowledge and training to support your goals and growth. I’m excited to continue to pursue a career where helping others will include current and former athletes. Being on a team as an athlete was very formative in my life, and I hope to support you on your journey as an athlete and teammate by creating a partnership to help you achieve your goals.

I am looking forward to working with you. Contact me now to get started.
